REUNION EVENTS

Sports day at St. Andrews was one of the biggest events in the northeast. Sports day was competitive, and full of excitement as competition among the four houses, Charles, Gumbs, Pascals, and Stevens, culminated on the Londonderry field as members of the various houses flaunt their yellow, green, red and blue colors, as they try accumulating the most points to be th No. 1 house for the year.  It was a coveted title which made house members scream and beam with pride. Events included long distance and sprint races, high jump, long jump, javelin, shot put, and relays.   

The reunion Sports Day goal is to bring back this nostalgia. We are aware that many past students are not able to participate in these rigorous sporting events anymore, but don’t you worry, this will be a Sports Day with a difference to accommodate everyone.  The day will start with a parade of houses, as members of the various houses make their grand entrance with music, including lapeau kabwits band, before getting into the other events. These events will include lime and spoon race, 3-legged race, sac race, dodgeball, cricket, 50m race, and even dominoes, in addition to the traditional races. And the day will not end before the relays and tug of war, and the No. 1 house decided. Start your training – the competition will be on! 

A well stock bar will await you.  And you remember those tasty canteen bakes and saltfish?  Come prepared to get some of that to.  There will be music and entertainment throughout the day as we have a great time on the Londonderry Field with our St. Andrew’s family and friends.  And be prepared for the fireworks as we close out the evening. You do not want to miss this extra ordinary sports day as we create memories to last for a lifetime! 

BANQUET & AWARDS CELEBRATION

Join us for a Night of Celebration! 

We are excited to announce the  Banquet and Awards Celebration, a key highlight of the Grand Reunion 2025.  This is a special occasion not only dedicated to honoring some distinguished guest who made outstanding contributions to our alma mater, but it’s a time to celebrate each and everyone who attended St. Andrew’s High School, because without you and me, there would be no St. Andrews High School.  

;We all played an integral part in the experience at St. Andrew’s High School through the friendships made, and the participation and contributions in and out of the classroom. It will be a time of immense fun and laughter as we reminisce on the ‘good ole days’. It will be a time of fun, enjoying sumptuous food , and a time to put on your dancing shoes as we rock to the live music and a DJ taking us way back in time, while we also jam to contemporary music. We will also be showcasing performances from some of our very talented alumni throughout the evening.

This is a time to network, and a time to celebrate our collective achievements. The occasion will be set in the beautiful breathtaking, sophisticated indoor and outdoor ambiance of the InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa with the tranquil Atlantic Ocean in the backdrop. This is a formal Red Carpet event so Dress to impress as you walk down the red carpet  there will be media present and also a professional photographer at the entrance. Prepare for an unforgettable evening filled with fun, laughter, inspiration, camaraderie, and dancing.
